Ms Bitcher's hourly rate?

Good Day Readers:

The other day after we ran Ms Bitcher from lawyer/cartoonist Charles Pugsley Fincher's mythical law firm Bitcher & Prickman, drooling over a 1982 bottle of Chateau Lafite Rothchild claiming it represented 1.5 billable hours, one reader wrote asking how much she charged.

According to research, a 1982 bottle of Domaines Barons de Rothschild Chateau Lafite Pauillac, France purchased in Washington, D. C. at current market prices would cost $2,981.01 (excludes sales tax). Working backward, Ms Bitcher charges clients the hourly rate of $1,987.34 plus tax.

Sincerely,
Clare L. Pieuk
