The Charbonneau Inquiry headed by Quebec Superior Court Justice France Charbonneau investigating corruption in the province's construction industry is attracting a lot attention. So if there are any aspiring/wannabe Mafiosi contemplating a career change, (Definitely not recommended!), here's what you should know. The 10 Commandments - actually there are 11.

1. Keep it exclusive

People who can't be part of Cosa Nostra:
(i) Anyone who has a close relative in the police
(ii) Anyone with a traitor for a relative
(iii) Anyone who behaves badly and doesn't hold to moral value

2. Respect the cash

3. Be truthful

4. Wives must be treated with respect

5. Appointments must always be respected

6. Stay available always

7. Don't go to pubs and clubs

8. Never be seen with cops

9. Never look at the wives of friends

10. No one can present himself directly to one of our friends ("amico nostro") must be a third party to do it

11. If three share a secret two are already dead (unwritten)
