The sleazy scam!

Good Day Readers:

With a Blog a day doesn't go by without people trying to rip you off those Nigerian scams being the most pathetic taking the cake for sheer stupidity.

The other day one came in unsolicited on the e-mail address tasndhs@shaw.ca with the attached file CourtNotice.zip. The covering letter stated:

You are hereby summoned to appear on 06/11/2014 at the Tax Court of Canada, find attached the Notice of Arraignment signed by the Judge. If you fail to appear as directed herein, a warrant will be issued for your arrest for any criminal charges; a civil sanction will be imposed and your driver's license will be suspended for any civil traffic charges.

Problem is, it required you to purchase or commit to purchase PARLAB a program allegedly required to unzip the attachment so it could be read. CyberSmokeBlog's response to the sleazyies behind the e-mail?

BTY PARLAB CSB is expecting a nice, little tidy tax refund this year.
