A tootless, lame duck, paper tiger figurehead?

Good Day Readers:

When you read Norman Sabourin's reply to Alberta's Justice Minister you have to wonder exactly WTF Beverley McLachlin does as Chairperson of the Canadian Judicial Council?
Is she already wearing too many hats with fingers in too many pies? Does she have too many ceremonial hats in her closet?
Kathleen Ganley
If Beverley McLachlin is going to be such a figure head maybe she should replace Robert Borden on the Canadian $100 bill.
But there may be another issue here.

Mr. Super Self-Rep and Royal pain in the ass to the legal establishment (Chris Budgell - Vancouver) for years now has argued the "gatekeeper" function Norman Sabourin has assumed may not be consistent with The Judges Act and the Council's By-Laws. Every time he raises it he seems to get the bum's rush

Sincerely,
