Oh My God-Oy Vey what have we done!

Truth To Power
The Public Eye has left a new comment on your post, "PERSPECTIVE: A report card on Manitoba's 14 MPs!"

Another fascinating blog, dealing with a fascinating legal prosecution that raises familiar issues, for you especially - http://freetheyellowhouse.blogspot.com.

Dear Public Eye:

Thank you for the fascinating link!
Guy and Carrie Neighbors say they don't buy or sell stolen property at the Yellow House Store. The U.S. Postal Inspector's Office served two more warrants (July 6, 2006) and searched the Neighbor's home and business in an ongoing fencing investigation.

After reading about the case we appreciated your comment. It would appear the Lawrence, Kansas Police Department and the Prosecutors Office may be guilty of multi-screwups, however, what caught our attention were a couple links cited in an article:

http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2009/may/21/federal-magistrate-orders-yellow-house-owner-custo/

The known police officers in this case are: gl0ck0wn3r; bearded_gnome; beobachter.

Interestingly enough they are quick to start blogging themselves after they claimed in a 275 page testimony that blogging was causing them undue stress (testimony located below):

Immediately we thought, "Oh My God-Oy Vey what have we done?" Is CyberSmokeBlog causing taxpayer financed Manitoba Metis Federation lawyer Murray Trachtenberg undue stress in prosecuting the MMF's turkey of a lawsuit (alleged defamation) against the now defunct www.CyberSmokeSignals.com?

Suddently we were consumed by a feeling of guilt and wondered if we should forthwith issue a public apology to Counselor Trachtenberg and his political handlers (the Plaintiffs) - that lasted all of two seconds! Besides, he can still be seen smiling angelically all over the internet.

The Yellow house case has made national news it is the first time in history a defendant has been incarcerated for filing a complaint against the prosecutor.

This is just crazy. How can we stand by as Americans rights are being violated like this....
