Who is Richard Wolson? Ask Brian Mulroney!

Good Day Readers:

Richard Wolson is a senior partner with the Winnipeg law firm Gindin Wolson Simmonds (http://www.gws.ca/home.asp). Unlike many sites which provide biographies of their lawyers, GWS doesn't.

During the early hours of February, 2005 an off duty East St. Paul (Winnipeg outskirts) police officer rear-ended a car driven by 40-year old Crystal Taman a mother of three stopped for a red light resulting in her death. From the beginning controversy swirled around the incident with allegations of officer impairment and a seriously flawed investigation.

In early December, 2007 the province announced an inquiry would be held beginning in June, 2008 which eventually garnered al lot of public attention because of its testimony. Mr. Wolson's 7 page (Whatever happened to the maximum 2 human resource experts recommend?) curriculum vitae appeared as an inquiry exhibit (http://www.tamaninquiry.ca/pdf/exhibits/exhibit-211.pdf).

Mr. Wolson is known as a skilled cross-examiner with previous public inquiry experience.

Sincerely,
Clare L. Pieuk
