Dear Anonymous:
Thank you for writing. We did check Snopes before posting the article to determine the advertisement was bogus. The original e-mail forwarded to us was sent by one individual and copied to 21 others. It also contained the following:
I DID check Snopes - it IS legit ... They're trying to match a recent deal by Nokia!
