Good Day Readers:
Ever wonder if political parties hire image consultants? For example, how often do you see gotees among our male representatives?
Is there a popular misconception they convey someone sneaky, underhanded and untrustworthy not that any of our politicians are we'd hasten to add. So why do we raise it? Thought you'd never ask.
Recently, we visited the website of our Member of Parliament Shelly Glover (Saint Boniface, Manitoba - www.shellyglover.ca; shelly@shellyglover.ca; Glover.S@parl.gc.ca) and noticed a significant transformation. Here's her official House of Commons photograph shortly after becoming a newly minted MP in 2008 after several years as a policelady.

Jeez, hopefully we'll recognize her next election when she comes knocking at the door looking for our vote.
