What's in your wallet and who's got your back?

When we came across the San Francisco based Electronic Frontier Foundation's petition we decided this was a must posting. EFF is right up there with Harvard University's Berkman Centre For Internet & Society jointly operated by the School's Faculties of Business Administration and Law. Both organizations are leading-edge in researching internet jurisprudence.
To the best of our knowledge nothing comparable with the same degree of sophistication exists in Canada. As a subscriber we're sending a copy of this posting to Shaw Cable with the question, "How do you protect the information we entrust to you? We'll publish any response received.
