Dear Mr. Fineblit:
Could you please advise who will be on the set down panel scheduled for May 3, 2011 in the above captioned matter.
Have a pleasant weekend.
Yours truly,
Clare L. Pieuk
Note: Under provisions of The Legal Profession Act which governs the LSM's operations we are not allowed to identify complainant(s) or defendant(s) until after there has been a finding of misconduct. In our original e-mail Mr. Y was identified by name (a Winnipeg lawyer) as was "Blackie." A second complaint was filed by a non-lawyer who we have previously identified as "The Bully."
We received no reply. Is that in the public interest?
We will attend tomorrow's meeting to report on the proceedings in the public interest. This will be the fifth to date and we're still in the preliminaries as no date has yet been set for Blackie's formal disciplinary hearing.
This is reminiscent of the Canadian taxpayer funded Manitoba Metis Federation's defamation lawsuit against our precursor site CyberSmokeSignals prosecuted by Murray Trachtenberg at an extimated public cost of $250,000. After almost 30 pre-trial conferences that stretched over nearly two and a half years no trial was held.www.ptlaw.mb.ca; mtrachtenberg@ptlaw.mb.ca

We believe Blackie's formal hearing may still be at least several months and perhaps even years away. His case potentially involves multi-precedents which is why we're following it so closely. Is continuing to prosecute Blackie in the public interest? We don't think so not for the "crimes" with which he's been charged!"Enemy to those who make him an enemy ..... friend to those who have no friend - that's Blackie!"
Shortly we'll file a report on tomorrow's proceedings.
Sincerely,
Clare L. Pieuk
