Not much to report this morning. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending upon your perspective, President Chartrand was unable to speak because he sustained laryngitis (Little wonder given how much he likes to talk!) at his campaign fundraiser yesterday evening. First time in living memory we can recall him at a loss for words!

Southeast MMF Vice-President Denise Thomas called in as his replacement but didn't have anything of significance to say. She should have used this opportunity to rant and rave (You Go Girl!) about the Federation's lawsuit against Terry Belhumeur, metis_mom@hotmail.com and Clare Pieuk as she did at the recent Winnipeg Region's Annual General Meeting (last Saturday). "No doubt host Ray St. Germain would have unplugged her microphone - yeah right!
