The Manitoba Metis Federation has just issued a Press Release announcing President Chartrand and his Provincial Board of Directors have resigned effective immediately; are dropping the lawsuits against The Honourable Yvon Dumont (Canada's first Metis Lieutenant Governor) and CSS.com, as well as, firing Counselor Murray N. Trachtenberg! The MMF also agreed to pay each of the four defendants in these cases $100,000 in damages for unusual pain and suffering!
