Brandon, Manitoba - Premier Gary Doer's NDP government may "feel the wrath" of Metis voters if it doesn't make strides on a host of issues before the next provincial election, says Manitoba Metis Federation president David Chartrand.

Mr. Chartrand told delegates at the federation's annual general assembly on the weekend that hunting rights, land claims and health care and social programs are things Mr. Doer has discussed with him, but little has materialized. CP

Based on Ernie Todd’s comments on Metis News and Stuff it looks like he’s gone over to the Dark Side. He’s transformed himself into a David Chartrand supporter. Not surprisingly since he use to do a column in Grassroots News. His rhetoric in the column was boring and self promoting. So bad I may add, that even Grassroots booted him out the door.

Look in the mirror Ernie its all over. You were a minor player in the wrestling game and you shamelessly tried to use whatever notoriety you had to advance yourself.. Every self promoting venture was a dismal failure even though you said you were doing it for the kids.

I guess the only think left is to patronize the cronies at the MMF and hope for a job offer.
