The real Red Baron!


Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen (May 2, 1892 - April 21, 1918) was a German fighter pilot known as "The Red Baron." He was the most successful flying ace of World War I and was credited with 80 confirmed air combat victories. Around his neck he wears the Pour le Merite, the "Blue Max," Prussia's highest military order.
