Time to boot him out of office!

Tansi/Good Day Readers:

Got an old workboot you don't need? Why not send it to David Chartrand with a personalized letter attached - maybe we can fill his office to overflow. Time to send him a subtle message he should do us all a favour and resign!

Sincerely,
Clare L. Pieuk

Autoworkers' Campaign To Give Politicians The Boot - Hundreds Of Them, Actually
National Post
August 7, 2008

Autoworkers facing unemployment in Windsor, Ontario are starting a campaign to give federal politicians the boot - several hundred boots, in fact.

Dave Crosswelll, an executive member of the Windsor and District Labour Council, is spearheading the Used Wookboot and Shoe Campagin to mail Ottawa as much used fpootwear as possible to MPs to represent the loss of manufacturing jobs in this country. Mr. Crosswell says the boots are being sent as a call for action.

"We're challenging them on their lack of movement on manufacturing reminding them of their responsibility to Canadians to retain manufacturing jobs," he said. The boots will be on their way shortly after Labour Day, headed to the office of Conservative Windsor MP Jeff Watson and Finance Minister Jim Flaherty. Each will bear a personal message from their former owners.
