Good morning Twitterers!

Digerati? Twitterati?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Oprah’s First Words on Twitter: “HI TWITTERS”

Well, it wasn’t exactly Neil Armstrong’s first words from the moon or even Alexander Graham Bell’s first words on a telephone, but Oprah Winfrey made her first tweet a few minutes ago: “HI TWITTERS . THANK YOU FOR A WARM WELCOME. FEELING REALLY 21st CENTURY.”
The digerati will probably scream about all the Internet etiquette rules she broke. She used all capital letters, which typically indicates screaming. She called Twitter users “Twitters” instead of “Twitterers.”
But Twitter users don’t care — it’s Oprah. According to Nick Bilton of The Times, she’s getting more than 1,000 responses per minute.
Welcome to the Twitterati, Ms. Winfrey. Your attention span will never be the same.
