The Public Eye also won best photograph yesterday for the "infamous placard." It was likely taken at an April 2009 rally in front of Wall Street's New York Stock Exchange. On Tuesday October 29, 1929, subsequently known as Black Tuesday, the stock market crashed during The Great Depression financially ruining bankers, stock brokers and small traders. Some were know to have jumped out of office windows.
