I found it today by accident as I was looking for photos of famous Metis people and one of the links took me here (http://www.jorgensenart.com/events.htm) where I found not only this painting but it seems another one was commissioned by the MMF and given to a Metis woman of 102 - Mrs. Flora Fleury along with a painted polar bear for CancerCare.

Thank you for writing. At the time we recall visiting Ms Jorgensen's site looking for a picture of the Paul Martin painting but it was not posted.

For Mrs. Fleury and CancerCare most certainly but a multi-millionaire sitting Prime Minister we don't think so.
