CyberSmokeBlog launches its Election 2010 coverage!
Good Day Readers:
The Manitoba Metis Federation must call its next election by no later than September 2010. To date one candidate has announced they're running for Director, Winnipeg Regional Office.
www.derrylsanderson.blogspot.comAnother will be seeking the presidency but their campaign website (http://metisonline.ca) has not been completed.
Any candidate, incumbent or challenger, can send us their election platform for publishing. Comments/questions from readers will be posted. Any inappropriate language or libelous, scandalous, defamatory material will be edited.
We begin by sending a copy of this to candidate Sanderson.

Running on a platform that will include accountability, transparency, priority focus towards our peoples' basic needs (affordable housing, joblessness and gang prevention/awareness), I am hereby announcing my candidacy for the position of Winnipeg Region Board of Director for the Manitoba Metis Federation.
In running this blog on a volunteer basis for almost 4 years now, I have seen enough. With contacts and information that I have made and shared across the country with the various Metis organizations and with all the knowledge gleaned from not only the site but also being involved in the "Metis world" I am comfortable enough to say that with the right team in place, I can help make a difference.
Elect Derryl Sanderson for MMF Winnipeg Region Board Member.
The MMF will never be the same.
