June 10, 2010?

Good Day Readers:
Blogger Derryl Sanderson (www.derrylsanderson.blogspot.com) is claiming inside sources have told him the Manitoba Metis Federation's general election will be held June 10, 2010. Is anyone able to confirm this?
Article IV (Timing of Election) of the MMF's constitution states:
There shall be no more than sixty (60) days between the date of the notice setting the date of the election and Election Day. In order to calculate compliance with this provision the first day counted shall be the day after the date of the notice setting the date of the election and the last day counted shall be Election Day.
According to our calculations based on Article IV and counting from tomorrow, 60 days should take us to June 25 while June 10 is only 45 days. Is there a loophole in the election by-laws meaning the notice can be given less than 60 days? If so what is the minimum notification required or is there one?
Sincerely,
Clare L. Pieuk
