Beware the scorpion David Chartrand!

Do you recall the fable about a scorpion who requests a ride with (I believe) a wolf across a large body of water? The wolf at first is skeptical, thinking the scorpion will sting him, but the scorpion convinces him he will not, arguing: "Why would I do that? Then we would both drown!" The wolf accedes to the request, carrying the scorpion on his back as he begins to swim across the water ..... only to be bitten by the scorpion a few seconds later. As both drown, the wolf, genuinely bewildered, yells out to the scorpion: "Why the hell did you do that? Now we're both going die!" The scorpion, seemingly equally bewildered, responded: "I couldn't help it. It was in my nature."

Moral of the story: Barring a radical change of circumstances, and likely even then, you can't settle with the MMF ..... NOT ONLY because they are streetfighters looking for lopsided, unilateral victories, but because they DON'T know how to negotiate. And because of Murray Trachtenberg's arrogance and his own personal stake in this case, I believe the same likely goes for David Chartrand as well.

Thank you for writing with the fable. The actions of the scorpion (Murray Trachtenberg) will jump up and bite David Chartrand in the worst possible place at the worst possible time. Do you not think government funders are watching the cash strapped MMF?
