Good Day Readers:

Mr. Vic Populi has published another insightful, prophetic article by Fortunat Guiboche from his blog Metis Manitoba Justice (http://redriverman.blogspot.com) - he has not published since 2008. When we tried contacting him through his site we were unsuccessful leading us to wonder whether he's still alive. Mr. Guiboche was part of a small group that met in 1968 from which the Manitoba Metis Federation evolved.

The taxpayer financed MMF has a history of misusing the legal system to silence it's critics. First there was the appeal after presidential candidate Yvon Dumont successfully challenged the results of the March 2003 election in which he lost by 20 votes after a recount.

Next, Mr. Dumont was sued (2007) by the Metis National Council but won. Interestingly, Murray Trachtenberg a Winnipeg lawyer (www.ptlaw.mb.ca; mtrachtenberg@ptlaw.mb.ca) who has done extensive work for the MMF for over 10 years represented the MNC which begs the question, why didn't the MNC use one of its lawyers? Did the Federation contribute to the Metis National Council's legal fees? Unfortunately, with the lack of accountability and organizational transparency demonstrated by the current Federation administration we'll never know.

Finally, we have the Manitoba Metis Federation's alleged defamation lawsuit against CyberSmokeBlog the genesis of which can be traced back to mid-September of 2003 once again being prosecuted by none other than Murray Trachtenberg. To date how many hundreds of thousands of public dollars has that cost?

Good Morning Folks....

Nation to Nation is the way Nation's operate. When a not-for-profit-corporation called the MMF Inc. or MNC Inc. declare that they speak for you and blatantly take steps in Canada's courts to settle some dispute that give them a little attention but settle's nothing ! They will one day have to account for this action directly to the Metis people! A Metis Nation Court will be held where they will be prosecuted to the full extent of Metis law and punishment will be carried out as ordered by the Metis Nation Court!. They will be charged with treason against the Metis Nation .....
