Close but no cigar!

Good Day Readers:

Yesterday we narrowly missed setting a record for visitors to CyberSmokeBlog. Our policy has always been and shall remain not to divulge numbers.

Previously, postings about the Douglas-King-Chapman sexcapade have always caused a significant spike in visitors. However, as the Canadian Judicial Council takes it times reaching a decision, which for most laypersons would be a no brainer, a lull has been created and a new champion emerged to fill it. Enter Blackie! The Law Society of Manitoba's relentless pursuit of Blackie is reminiscent of the hit television series of the 1960's The Fugitive in which innocent Dr. Richard Kimble was pursued by the obsessive-compulsive, anally fixated Police Lieutenant Philip Gerard played by Canadian actor Barry Morse. "Enemy to those who make him an enemy ..... friend to those who have no friend - that's Blackie!"

Sincerely,
Clare L. Pieuk
