A bilingual "robomail!"

Good Day Readers:

If you contact your Member of Parliament you'll get one of these within seconds - the trick, of course, is to receive a meaningful reply. It's standard operating procedure among MPs. This was occasioned by e-mailing Ms Glover a copy of today's posting, Saint Boniface, Manitoba robocalls?

Clare L. Pieuk

Ever notice the only time you get telephoned, robocall or otherwise, by your Member of Parliament asking for your input is on election day. Wouldn't it be refreshing to hear, "Hi constituent, I have a vote coming up on a couple very important Bills in the Hours of Commons (C-30 and 51) how do you think I should vote?"

Thank you very much for writing the office of Shelly Glover, MP for Saint Boniface.  We appreciate hearing from constituents and being made aware of their views.

Please contact your Member of Parliament. If you don't know who your MP is, you can search by postal code at

Thank you again for writing.
