Stephen Harper wears a wig everybody!

Good Day Readers:

We didn't wish to say anything but we've suspected it for a very long time. Know anybody who never has a hair on his head out of place even when he gets up in the morning? Now we have it from such an authoritative source as Admiral General Aladeen of The Republic of Wadiya confirming he buys his wigs there. That's good enough for us.

Sincerely,

The Dictator, Sacha Daron Cohen, On Stephen Harper: Admiral General Aladeen Praises Media Silence

Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, a.k.a. Admiral General Aladeen of the Republic of Wadiay in The Dictator, appears in a teaser from George Stroumboulopoulos tonight to discuss Canada's government, free press and Stephen Harper.

Stephen Harper has a new fan in The Dictator's Admiral General Aladeen.

Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, jokingly portraying Admiral General Aladeen of the Republic of Wadiya, appears in a teaser from George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight to discuss Canada’s government, free press and Stephen Harper.

“If there was ever an argument against democracy, it is Stephen Harper," he said. "I commend your leaders on silencing your media. For the last 10 years, I have not even heard a single noteworthy event happening in Canada.”

His comments came after Harper recieved the Code Of Silence Award from the Canadian Association of Journalists, Canada.com noted. The Association singled Harper out over a lack of information regarding the F-35 program and avoiding media questions, Canadian Press reported.

The comic also had some harsh words for Harper's hair in the Stroumboulopoulos interview.
“You know he has his wigs made in Wadiya,” the admiral said.

This latest publicity comes on the heels of the film's London premiere, where the character made scandalous remarks about the royal family.

The full interview will air on May 15 on CBC's George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight and The Dictator hits theatres May 16.
