CyberSmokeBlog has confirmed with Queen's Bench staff the media (including CSB) will be advised of Vic "Woodshed" Toews official swearing in ceremony a few days in advance. It will be open to the public but the reception afterward will not meaning you will not be able to partake of all those delicious taxpayer canapes/hors d'oeuvres and expensive alcohol.

Given the substantial publicity "Woodshed's" appointment has already, and will likely continue to generate, perhaps a large tent should be placed on the front lawn of The Law Courts Building to accommodate everyone along with a larger than life-sized inflatable of  him a la the Canadian Taxpayers Federation blow up of Mike Duffy.

As soon as CSB has confirmation of the date, time and location it will be posted.

You've got to figure there's some rather ....ed off Justices these days. Not only were they not consulted on such a controversial appointment but it's akin to tossing a judicial lightening rod in their midst.
